Frequently Asked Questions:
|
- Am I insured against loss and destruction to my hardware?
Most equipment we lease
is protected against loss and destruction. In case of loss or destruction of the
equipment, notify American POS immediately. For details please refer to the
lease agreement.
- For how long can I lease your equipment?
Lease terms vary from a minimum of 1
year (12 months) to a maximum of 4 years (48 months). However, at the end of
the lease term, you can renew the lease if you choose to do so.
Options available to you are described in the lease agreement.
- What do I have to do when the lease expires?
You may return the
equipment to American P.O.S. or choose to buy it. Specific details are in the
lease agreement.
- Does my credit
history affect my monthly payment on the lease?
The monthly payment is dependent on the number and
type of equipment leased, not the credit history.
- I have a leased a credit card machine from American POS, but I’m out of business now.
Is it possible for someone else to use this machine?
Lease transfers can be done when the existing merchant
introduces a new merchant to take over the lease. We will go through credit
checks for the new Lessee and if approved, we can go ahead with the transfer.
